This painting is from a photograph taken while in New Mexico near Ghost Ranch. The painting is more posterized than what I normally produce. I don't really know why I went in this direction it just sort of developed that way and I ran with it. I'm not sure if I will continue in this way but I do think this conveys the scene well.
