Tomorrow Will Be Hot

I'm so thankful that I don't have to work in the hayfield anymore. When I was a kid that was a yearly ritual cutting hay, putting it on the wagon and then stacking it in the barn. Working the hay field and picking cotton are two things that would be on the list of punishments in hell.

  1. How well I remember hauling hay! Sometimes I actually think I miss it. Not many people bale square anymore. It's almost all round these days so that take a lot of that hot, heavy work out of it.
